Chinese dragons ceiling lamp

This is a quite evocative pattern of a Chinese ceiling lamp. It is ornamented with dragons and oriental scenes in naive style. The pattern is based in an old Italian design from the beginning of the XX century that I have entirely reconstructed in the computer.

This picture has been kindly sent by Oleg Velesjuk from Kaliningrad, Russia.

The pattern has been designed to use wood of any given thickness. The most appropriate wood thickness are 1/4 inches, 3/16 inches, 5 or 6 mm. By scaling the pattern appropriately any other wood widths can also be used. These are the measures of the lamp depending on the wood thickness you use:

  Height Diameter
1/4 in. wood 15 in. 18 in.
3/16 in. wood 11,3 in. 13,5 in.
5 mm. wood 30 cm. 36 cm.
6 mm. wood 36 cm. 43,2 cm.

Please note that this pattern is registered and copyrighted. If you would like to have it I offer it for 9 € plus shipping. The pattern is computer made, which provides total precision, and nicely printed for convenient scrolling. Click here to buy this pattern. Write me to info@finescrollsaw.com for any questions.
