This is a particularly beautiful corner niche designed for a religious statue, preferably the Virgin Mary. It is nicely ornamented in gothic style. The mounting system is quite simple, so even though this project looks quite impressive, it can me made by any average scroller. The pattern is based in an old Italian design from the beginning of the XX century that I have entirely reconstructed in the computer. The pattern has been designed to use 3/16 inches wood or 5 or 6 mm wood. By scaling the pattern appropriately any other wood widths can also be used.
