Fairies vase stand

Fairies vase stand, scroll saw fretwork pattern

This is a very charming vase stand. On the main base, four fairies hold a ring where the vase leans. The pattern is based in an old English design from the beginning of the XX century that I have entirely reconstructed in the computer.

The original design was much simpler. Basically, the project was formed by two interlaced pieces. I have completed the design adding a fully ornamented base and some more ornaments to the fairies.

The type of vases for which this project is designed are not east to find. The plans include the patterns for the most adequate vase for this projects, just in case you would like to turn it yourself in wood.

The pattern has been designed to use 1/4 and 1/8 inches wood or 6 and 3 mm wood. By scaling the pattern appropriately any other wood widths can also be used. These are the measures of the vase holder depending on the wood width you use:

  Height Diameter
1/4 in. wood 17,1 in. 11,1 in.
6 mm. wood 41 cm 26,6 cm

Please note that this pattern is registered and copyrighted. If you would like to have it I offer it for 10 € plus shipping. The pattern is computer made, which provides total precision, and nicely printed for convenient scrolling. Click here to buy this pattern. Write me to info@finescrollsaw.com for any questions.
