The Sirens Candelabra

This is a very elaborate and intricate four branches candelabra.  This pattern is based in a very old Italian design. The base is formed by four sirens sitting around a fretworked box. The interior of this box can be linen to increase the visual effect. The branches contain lots of detail and fretwork with leaves and some veining.

The best wood thickness for this project are either 1/4 inches wood or 6 mm. wood, but of course the pattern can be resized for other wood thickness. The following table gives the measures of the candelabra depending on the wood you use:

  Candelabra height Candelabra width
1/4  in. wood 23.4 in. 12 in.
6 mm. 56,3 cm. 28,8 cm.
