Sirens and chimeras wall clock

This is a strikingly original wall clock with lots of fretwork. It is ornamented with two sirens, several chimeras, many leaves and even a shelf in the upper part in a very nice composition that calls for attention. The clock can be finished with a clock insert or with a pendulum system clock. This pattern is based in an old French design that I have restored carefully in the computer.

The clock is designed to be made preferably with 3/8, 1/4 and 1/8 inches wood or with 3, 6 and 9 mm. wood, but of course other wood thickness can be used scaling the pattern. The following table gives the measures of the clock depending on the wood width you use:

Clock height Clock width Clock depth
1/8, 1/4 and 3/8 in. wood 21.2 in. 20.3 in. 5.2 in.
3, 6 and 9 mm. wood 50,9 cm. 48,7 cm. 12,5 cm.
4, 8 and 12 mm. wood 67,8 cm. 64,9 cm. 16,6 cm.

This picture shows details of the side sirens holding a chimera and the delicate fretwork of the sides of the clock box.
