scroll saw fretwork wooden clock with three dragons

Swans magazine rack

Wooden swans magazine rack in regency style, scroll saw fretwork pattern

This is an alluring magazine rack or file, lavishly ornamented in regency style, with motifs that resemble Roman and Egyptian decorations. Its most attractive details are the four swans over the corners, which give it a unique look. The patterns are based in an old English design that I have entirely reconstructed in the computer.

This project is designed to be made preferably with 1/4 and 1/8 inches wood or with 6 and 3 mm. wood, but of course it can be scaled at will. The following table gives the measures of the magazine rack depending on the wood width you use:

  Height Width Depth
1/4 and 1/8 inches wood 14.5 in. 20.9 in. 7.3 in.
6 and 3 mm. wood 34.8 cm. 50.1 cm. 17.5 cm.

Please note that this pattern is registered and copyrighted. If you would like to have it I offer it for 11 € plus shipping. The pattern is computer made, which provides total precision, and nicely printed for convenient scrolling. Click here to buy this pattern. Write me to info@finescrollsaw.com for any questions.
