scroll saw fretwork wooden clock with three dragons

Tobacco or tea casket

Tobacco or tea casket, scroll saw fretwork pattern

This is a very peculiar tobacco or tea casket. It is designed to be completed with several wooden balls. The pattern is based in a very old English  design that I have completely redrawn in the computer.

This casket case is designed to be made preferably with 3/16 inches wood or with 5 mm. wood. The following table gives the measures of the casket depending on the wood width you use:

  Height Width
3/16 in. wood 8,9 in. 6,4 in.
1/4 in. wood 11,9 in. 8,5 in.
5 mm. wood 23,7 cm. 17 cm.
6 mm. wood 28,4 cm. 20,4 cm.

Please note that this pattern is registered and copyrighted. If you would like to have it I offer it for 8 plus shipping. The pattern is computer made, which provides total precision, and nicely printed for convenient scrolling. Click here to buy this pattern. Write me to info@finescrollsaw.com for any questions.
