Toulouse clock

Toulouse scroll saw fretwork clock

This is a quite simple and at the same time interesting clock. This pattern is based in an old French design that I have restored carefully in the computer. All the visible edges (except the rear ones) are formed by beveled sides, so that when completed there are no visible joint slots. Mounting the clock is straightforward thanks to three frame pieces inside the lower section.

The clock is designed to be made preferably with 1/4 inches wood or with 6 mm. wood, but of course other wood thickness can be used scaling the pattern. The following table gives the measures of the clock depending on the wood width you use:

  Clock height Clock width
1/4 in. wood 13,9 in. 9,7 in.
6 mm. wood 33,2 cm. 23,2 cm.

Please note that this pattern is registered and copyrighted. If you would like to have it I offer it for 11 € plus shipping. The pattern is computer made, which provides total precision, and nicely printed for convenient scrolling. Click here to buy this pattern. Write me to info@finescrollsaw.com for any questions.
