Cherubs coffer

This is a graceful coffer that will become the center of attention wherever it is displayed. The sides are ornamented with dancing cherubs holding bouquets of plants and fruits. The lid is decorated with different floral motifs. The result is particularly attractive. The pattern is based in a masterpiece of the old Italian fretwork design school dating back to around 1900.

This project is designed to be made preferably with 1/4 inches wood or with 6 mm. wood, but of course it can be scaled at will. The following table gives the measures of the coffer depending on the wood thickness you use:

  Height Width Depth
1/4 in. wood 10.6 in. 15.4 in. 9.9 in.
6 mm. wood 25.5 cm 37 cm. 23.7 cm
