Cruet

This is a practical cruet that will give a very special accent to any table or will decorate any sideboard cabinet. The patterns are based in an old English design that I have entirely reconstructed in the computer.

This picture is courtesy of Boris Radovskiy from the USA. He is a member of the Carolina Scrollers club. The cruet is made with Walnut and dark and light cherry, and finished with semi gloss polyurethane.

This project is designed to be made preferably with 3/16, 1/8 and 1/16  inches wood or with 4.5, 3 and 1.5 mm. wood. The mounting is quite simple, so these thickness can be changed by easily modifying some of the slots. The following table gives the measures of the cruet depending on the suggested wood thickness:

  Height Width
3/16, 1/8 and 1/16 inches wood 7.3 in. 8.1 in.
4.5, 3 and 1.5 mm. wood 17.1 cm. 19.4 cm.

Please note that this pattern is registered and copyrighted. If you would like to have it I offer it for 8 € plus shipping. The pattern is computer made, which provides total precision, and nicely printed for convenient scrolling. Click here to buy this pattern. Write me to info@finescrollsaw.com for any questions.
